Free Money!
Checking the envelopes atop the mailboxes I found this:
Flipped it over & saw currency!
Yes, an actual crisp uncirculated one dollar US bill, straight from the pack. Meant to make the recipient feel obligated to fill out & return the survey. Pew Research sent me a dollar w/ a survey once. Don't remember if I responded.
Same reason Reader's Digest sent a penny w/ their subscription solicitations in the '60s. That's some inflation.
Going out to blow it on something stupid right now!!
