You can stop bleating "Merry Xmas" &/or "Happy Holidays"; no "Happy New Year's" either, we want it to last more than a night & the following day. "Hope this yr. is better than last" is probably the best thing to say, & too much to expect. Or just shut your festering gobs until Feb. or so.
