First day it's been under 80°F (26.67°C) in the bunker. My wretched aging body is really feeling it. And the darkness, literal & metaphorical, increases daily.
Slumlord sent two profesionals to turn on the heater Thurs.; they found it was leaking carbon monoxide & is so old it should be replaced. (I s'pose they'll be more than happy to install a new one they've sold to the slumlord.) Good thing I didn't try to light it, not having a carbon monoxide detector. What are space heaters retailing for these days?
