Owned & operated one of these in the late '50s. Do not remember the helmet, but I must've had it too (Might've been too small for my giant head.) as I remember the oxygen mask had a piece of cellulose or plastic in it for the voice distortion. And I'm pretty sure the radar scope had something behind it to conceal the innards & make it a bit more realistic. 'Though maybe not. Nostalgia & memory are tricky.
