Inflation Beater

Thought I'd save myself some moolah by getting expiring meat at a dollar off yesterday.
Scanned it at the self-check-out, the robot made a beep & I shoved it in my bag. Apparently the dollar-off UPC wasn't in the system, because Mr. Machine didn't read it, saving this reporter US$5.99.
US$2.19 for three cloves of garlic? Yuck foo, Target.

Irony: Parked outside the Target, a decommissioned (note missing paint) police car, to dissuade shoplifters. Ha ha ha.
++Irony: Previous Target freebie.

    You still have to pay for it. In general, Vons is higher-priced than Ralphs, so you may not be saving that much.
