I'd just finished shooting flash images of the above decommissioned prowl car (Different day, same Target, different decommissioned car.) when one of the SUVs w/ which the LAPD replaced these Crown Vics pulled up, an oinker got out, acknowledged my prescence & drove the hulk away, absolute proof that if you see a Crown Vic parked in front of a retail establishment there's no thin blue line inside; go on in, help yourselves.
I'm sure they saw the flash, & was still putting the camera back in the bag when the ossifer acknowledged me. Decided not to shoot photograph the pigs themselves.
