Little is known about Bobby Hamilton, aside from his being born Robert Caristo, October 5, 1938, in Locust Valley, Long Island, New York. “Crazy Eyes For You” – a rock-a-ballad, a ladies choice, what was called “a drag,” was possibly his first 45 and the second release for the Apt label. Follow-ups “Oh Yeah!” & "Uh Huh, Baby”, flopped.
In the early ’60s, Hamilton worked with a singing mailman named Freddy Gorman, formerly of the Voice Masters and later of the Originals. Together the two did manage to create “(Just Like) Romeo and Juliet” (#6, 1964), which would become a one hit wonder for the Reflections.
