A man was stabbed near the Wiltern Theater in Koreatown and a suspect was arrested, it was reported Thursday.
Police on patrol in the area of Wilshire Boulevard and Western Avenue witnessed the incident Tuesday night and attempted to stop the suspect, who ran from officers but was quickly located and arrested, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. A weapon was recovered.
The victim ran into the theater, where a sold-out Van Morrison concert was taking place, looking for help, ABC7 reported.
The victim was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
A motive for the stabbing was not disclosed. The names of the suspect and victim were not released.
