Whatever happened to that right-wing concern/desire for "religious liberty"/theocracy?Bethany Mandel / National Review:
The Troubling Connections between Scientology and the Nation of Islam — Farrakahn receives a commission for each of his followers who undergoes a Scientology ‘auditing.’ — Scientology is commonly known as the religion of the stars. Its reach inside Hollywood is deep …Discussion:
Irksome & annoying as bean-pie mongers & personality-test promoters are (Or were; they still do that stuff?) they are merely chump-ass followers of cults that have lucked into enough members to put them on the street to fundraise (a large part of what puts either group in the public awareness) hardly national political organizations w/ any actual clout. Does NRO's Mandel want us to start treating the sappy Farrakhanists & loser Hubbardians as if they were the Mormons at Nauvoo, Illinois & roust their asses somewhere?
Blood-Libel Note: "Scientology is commonly known as the religion of the stars. Its reach inside Hollywood is deep …" Th' fuck?
