Another Date That Will Live In Infamy

TH.
I may have mentioned once or twice (a wk.) that democracy is a joke ('cause the demos is dummies) & you Yankee pig-dogs are the punchline. Now the Senate's Republicans have proved me correct beyond a reasonable doubt. Not that the mere existence of the Senate & Electoral College wasn't a big clue.

And not that anything will be done beyond the typing of endless pixels of outraged eds, op-eds & those most effective of all First Amendment activities, blog posts, even as not only democracy but the entire economy/social structure/nation itself are washed away by the effects of this bill & the rising tide of you-know-what.

Have I no hope for the future? Mmmm, if we don't burn to death immediately in the fireball or waste away from radiation sickness we might break up the American sheep pen & have a socialist paradise on The Coast W/ The Most. Building a big fence may be expensive*, but we'll make you fuckers on the wrong side pay for it if you want any of our agricultural bounty, show business or just the beach.

San Francisco's "urine-stained communists" reiterate that the personal is indeed political:

*Even more difficult than cost? Figuring where in the North American Cordillera (I had no idea. I was not informed of this in eighth-grade geology or in whichever grade geography was.) to put a big damn fence (more like big fences).

Our editorial position used to be inclusive, figuring the Continental Divide would be a good (indeed, blatantly obvious) line of demarcation, but let's face it, we don't really want too many of those people who hail from non-coastal flatlands among us, do we?
