The Company One Keeps

More on Not-My-President Trump using the troops.
The future commander in chief attended the 117th game between the military academies at West Point and Annapolis, which is being held on relatively neutral ground in Baltimore. The M&T Bank scoreboard showed the president-elect late in the first quarter; he waived [sic] and drew cheers from the crowd, though not at the level of the noise generated by Army's first-quarter touchdown.

The Black Knights are hoping to end a 14-year Navy win streak and took a 7-0 lead into the second quarter.

Trump tweeted on Saturday morning that he was going to the game "as a show of support for our Armed Forces." He planned to spend the first half of the game in the box of David Urban, a West Point graduate and Republican adviser and the second half in the box of retired Marine Lt. Col. Oliver North, a graduate of Annapolis.
This ret'd. Lt. Col. North; is he best known for graduating from Annapolis, or was there another reason that name is familiar? How (just askin') is consorting w/ lying anti-Constitutional scum supportive of "the troops", Mr. Trump?

And note that while that our source is MilitaryTimes, it is straight outta the AP, "waived" & all.
Associated Press writers Lisa Lerer, Julie Pace, Julie Bykowicz and Lolita Baldor in Washington
and Thomas Beaumont in Des Moines, Iowa contributed.
Shame on someone (Dumb-ass ignernt millenials?) somewhere (A Military Times editor would be a likely suspect, but the AP are no angels.) who didn't know or who deliberately omitted further knowledge of Lt. Col. North.
