I was out of the United Snakes during our triumphant conquest of the ball of rock in the sky, so forgive the living hell out of me for catching up on the "other" news. The more things yada ...
Here, some oddities & artifacts: Abortion services ads in the classifieds of 12 June 1979, spotted while reading the obit of ABC correspondent Russell Jones, who reported on "Suez Canal Fighting" above. (For headline accuracy, I wanted to be sure he was as dead as the other two talking heads are.) Some things do change.
