Now I want a car for Xmas.A woman was taken into custody after the police said she intentionally veered onto a crowded sidewalk on the Las Vegas Strip on Sunday night, killing at least one person and injuring at least 36 others before she fled the scene.
The woman, who is in her 20s and had a 3-year-old in the 1996 Oldsmobile she was driving, was on South Las Vegas Boulevard when she went onto the sidewalk shortly before 7 p.m., the police said. She struck dozens of people before driving off, then went onto the sidewalk again at a different spot and fled the scene.
