LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Two schools in the Koreatown section of Los Angeles have been placed on lockdown due to police activity, officials said Tuesday.
Charles Kim Elementary School at 225 S. Oxford Ave. and Cahuenga Elementary at 220 S. Hobart Blvd. were on lockdown as LAPD officers set up a perimeter for a stolen car suspect, said LAPD spokesman Officer Mike Lopez.
Cahuenga Elementary students were being dismissed south on Hobart towards 3rd Street at around 3:05 p.m., police said.
No other details were immediately available.
