In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation which designated May 15th as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week in which that date falls as Police Week. Currently, tens of thousands of law enforcement officers from around the world converge on Washington, DC to participate in a number of planned events which honor those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice. Not to mention the five thousand or so Americans since 2005 who paid the ultimate sacrifice on the altar of Moloch when a police officer killed them.
So how about a counter observation, a National Week of Righteous Rage against these murdering bastards who run rough-shod over us? At least a Day dedicated to the memories of those murdered in cold blood in the name of order?
Maybe an informed guess on the police-to-non-police kill ratio would be a good place to start.
