End Of The World
Told in a sparsely pseudo-naturalistic "docudrama" style, 1958's Power Of Decision seems intended to scare the sweet living bejesus out of someone; Congress, it turns out. "Psst, Senator, we can trust you, would you like to see a top secret classified film? Heh heh." Nudge nudge. Possibly performed by the actual weasels involved, written by someone who confuses "sporadic" w/ "spasmodic", padded w/ stock footage & directed by accident.

Me, I'll thank you for bringing back my nuclear nightmares (oh, they never really went away).
ReplyDeleteYou watched that whole thing to get to that 'spasmodic' part?
I like how well pressed everyone looks even after 1/3 of America has been wiped out.
