ReplyDeleteI coulda transferred to Tempe in 1995, but no way in hell, & I had the option of a decent lay-off package & no desire to continue in banking. (But I ended up in hell anyway.)
The excessively family-attached usually are emotionally disturbed, he generalized.
Take it from me, Tempe is no L.A. (and is a long way from paradise).

ReplyDeleteI trained my replacement in Tempe. In July & August. Having to air out the car for five mins. before you could get in (because it had been in the sun all day) was all I needed to know.
I would make a lame comment about how some like it hot, but that would be, well, lame.
