Miss Them If You Can

Two words that do not mean what some pretend they mean: Freedom & liberty. The libertarian futurists liberally sprinkle them throughout their announcement of the 2014 award-winners. Especially amusing? See the last few paragraphs & wonder if they don't quite get how links can be made to work. Quite a future they have for us.

One sentence to bind us all in the darkness:
The story’s characters (especially the 12-year-old title character of the song) resist control of a wizard-backed government that wants to regulate, tax, and conscript them.
Fuckin' wizards.
