Doors north & around 40 mins. early. The woman noticed a man she didn't recognize in the common area of her apartment building at 1400 North Edgemont last night, LAPD Officer Sara Faden told LAist. She confronted him and asked him what he was doing in the building. Things escalated, and the man physically attacked the woman, but she was able to fight back and get away and call police around 7:45 p.m. Police also told the Los Angeles Times that the man attempted to pull the woman's pants down.
The man ran away, and police haven't found any suspects. He was described as a male Hispanic man in his 20s, but police may later release a composite sketch of the man.
