Bad enough there's to be a Fire Safety Inspection today between 0930-1130 but now there are three guys outside the door to the bunker puttering about on the fire control panel (sounds as if it was not very well programmed or hasn't been messed w/ in X yrs.) which involves much beeping inside the bldg., the opening & closing of fire doors, the setting off of an old-style ringing alarm on the outside of the bldg. ("Someone's robbing the bank!!") & the release of the contents of the sprinkler tank. Which, flowing by the window, didn't seem like a whole lot of water.
Plus some witch knocked on my door & asked if the working stiffs could borrow some electricity, but then they found the outlet in the hall.
