Trivial Yet Torrid Thurs.

Too hot to anything, 101°F when we awoke (not that much) earlier certainly too hot to cookheat anything. Breakfast therefore was rat cheese & red onion on glutinous white bread w/ mayo. Mmmm. Bugger your fancy shit, the simple things are the best. (Does not apply to human beings. No simpletons, please.)

Currently as we type (redundantly) it's a possible bunker record at 87°F (yes 30.5°C, you couldn't take it, metrecists).

    Supposed to rain an inch before tomorrow morning rolls around in D.C.

    Usual spots will get flooded, and people will be sad. Too bad we can't send it to the fires.
