Yes. This is the time that is different. Previously, production automation replaced muscles - there was increasing opporunities for people to do meaningful work as machines increased the strength, stamina and accuracy of manual labor.
ReplyDeleteBut today, with sensors, machine intelligence and advanced programming languages, machines are replacing eyes, ears and brains. Already, there is no such thing as a human quality control inspector - that's a pretty good example of what we're going to see...
