Background Background: Evil Is Going On

We were looking for cobwebs for the background; inability to find any that would fit Bugger's fascist criteria (You bet it's redundant: "Criteria" are definitionally fascist!!) of 1800x1600 to fill the background, & no larger than 3Kb led us to look for webs of more literal evil*. Here you can see the evil on the land hereabouts, not hidden under one of these idiotic gray rectangles.

Who knew there were all those airports in L.A. in 1955 (and, of course, no interstates)?
Sure there were airports everywhere. How do you think people got around before the freeways?
*Damnit, now we realize this was prodding our subconscious, & it was in the hard drive all the time.
