DO NOT slam chopping board on counter in paroxysm of rage.
DO get ahold of the asshole who pissed you off, & slam that chopping board on his head until he stops pissing you off. If it takes a while, that's his problem for pissing you off.

ReplyDeleteI had to pay U.S.$50.00 (in 199X, when that was money) for a new remote for some box*, & noticing the dirt, scum & bodily oils on the old non-working one I started leaving remotes in the plastic bags they came in. Haven't lost one since.
By the way, SONY's 199X helpline, asked if the wand could be repaired, said: "We just tell people to buy new ones." He didn't actually laugh evilly but I knew what he was thinking.
So 20 yrs. later I'll bet you're really screwed. Let us know what % of the camera price the new remote is.
