G'wan, Have Another Lotus

What horrors have the people of the Northeast committed against humanity or nature that they have a blizzard descending on them for the new yr., while the pure innocent & decent (Apparently I'm included in that, is that wild or what?) have to ring in the new yr. w/ this:
On the same day that New York City warned residents of a blizzard approaching, the Annenberg Beach House in Santa Monica dropped a [sic] email blast saying they are opening the swimming pool this weekend. "The forecast is in our favor, and you know what that means!," the email says. "Bonus Pool Days!"
iNternet friend Aunt Snow has more on swimming in a pool at the beach.

NB, y'all: As always, bragging about the weather is not not NOT an invitation or solicitation for any of you evil easterners to bring your crummy karma here!
