We're glad you're all impressed w/ the new design, & we extend thanks for the inspiration to Mr. B. Keefe, a guy who uses what may be his legal name on the iNternet, who sent us an unsolicited but thought-crystallizing note suggesting we widen the web log. Thought-crystallizing as we'd been thinking along these lines for a while (Had actually been troubling ourself to calculate larger sizes w/in the then-width for pix we thought deserving.) even to the point of thinking about a tumblr for various photographic activities.
Plus which, the whole bog-roll thing's over innit? (At least we keep reading that, & we seldom consult our own. Anyone cool or worth the effort is in our newsfeeder-reader.) And all those lists made this site a slow loader. All that crap's at the bottom now, NYT-style.
Of course now we have to review 10,000+ items & resize all images & videos. See y'all next yr.

Also, I think you're right about blog rolls. I do like other elements of some sidebars, though. Still wondering how to modernize those.
