Ghost Town*

Allegedly California's best.An aerial view of California’s best ghost town. Filmed with a DJI Phantom and a Zenmuse H3-2D on a GoPro 3. GoPro was set at 2.7k w/ ProTune. Edited in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop. Filmed by Russell Brown and Aaron Grimes.   2. Bodie is pretty much the only semi-intact ghost town left in California. The rest of them were either pillaged by looters or burned and bulldozed by irate environmentalists who wanted to claim that historic mining districts were "pristine untouched wilderness" to lock away from the majority of Californians and to heck with the human history that they were burning. So go to Bodie if you want to see some real California history of how folks lived in those days. Because everything else is gone. Or so Disneyfied as to be unrecognizable.
