Tele-Editor: No mics on the drums & no visible amps would indicate yes. (Don't make us listen.) No idea how the Sulivan show worked, but we know that on some tee vee shows in the '70s the instruments would be pre-recorded tracks but the vocals would be live. Could be in this case too.
