The most significant thing (actually the only thing) that's crossed our mind as a result of this interminable mess is that this is the third consecutive POTUS who's been elected to a second term.
Second time it's happened, Jefferson, Madison & Monroe having done it a couple centuries ago. How do the last three winners stack up against those presidential powerhouses? Ha ha. Why do you hate America?
