I always got the impression that a lot of heads didn't respect Weir as much as Garcia or Lesh (not that it was altogether undeserved). Maybe because he was the youngest or maybe he wasn't 'hippy' enough. Whatever. I always thought he played pretty good guitar and wrote some pretty good songs (this one was probably not his best).
