Patriotizm

  1. Not shown: The muzzle flashes of all the firearms being discharged in the general direction of the sky. Not heard: The patter of lead bullets falling back to Earth like a bitter rain. Yay, East L.A.... (yes, I have a friend who lives there in the ghetto).

  2. Fun w/ Guns Editor:
One New Yr.'s Day we found a smooshed .22 round on the Sunset Blvd. sidewalk in Silver Lake, but it doesn't happen as often as it used to.

Our steady date lives in H.P.-adjacent Garvanza (really just part of H.P. that homeowners & other scum had renamed because H.P. is, as you say, ghetto).

Thanks to the hard work of The Highland Park Heritage Trust, Garvanza was officially designated as a neighborhood by the City of Los Angeles in 1997, and the entire area was earmarked as a Historical Preservation Overlay Zone in April 2007.
