When The Summer's Gone ...

We at Just Another Blog (From L.A.)™ are saddened to read of the passing (horrible drawn-out death due to cancer) of Donna Summer (known to literally millions as Donna "Summers"). End of an era & all that, but of course we have no actual interest beyond ourself, & Ms. Summer was one of the first acts w/ whom we worked when we were in show biznis, long long ago in 1976. Right after Rhythm Heritage, if we aren't mistaken.

We kind of like this tune.Again, just us, the frustrated D.J. speaking. But we'll tell you this: Donna will be more missed than Whitney Houston.

    Listened to Terri Gross interviewing her in 2003 replayed tonight. I had no inkling of what she was like, but the interview was pretty wonderful.
