45 Yrs. Later ...

A déjà vu sort of thing. We watched this video on Friday or so, & noted that the Mayfair Market which became a Jon's Market (at Fountain & La Brea, at the other end of the block from the long-gone Foster's Freeze, next to Tide Oil Co.) was under construction in 1965.OK, it was a vacant lot.

Flash forward to NOW, & yesterday we were whizzing by & noticed that the Jon's (formerly Mayfair) was now under construction. Well, not really under construction or a vacant lot, but a big damn hole in the ground. No pictures; maybe later. Here, a picture of the once Mayfair, which is no doubt © somebody.
