Our Favorite Brand, Hint Hint

Our birthday arrives soon, & if those has-been Beatles were bigger than Jesus, surely Xmas isn't a bigger deal than said anniversary.

  1. So what does a packet of death-sticks go for now in La-la Land?

When I last purchased 'em they were in the $3-4 dollar range. And that was in my low tax paradise jurisdiction. Now I hear they are well north of five bucks.

  2. Rolls His Own Editor Coughs Up:

There's been a recent reduction in price (no idea if a tax expired or what) from $7.35 to $7.29 at the corner establishment. At some dumps they're a mere $7.00.

A carton goes for $62.00 & change, but they throw in a cheap lighter "free."

That's actual non-filtered Camels. Brands they think people might switch to can be as cheap as $10.00 for two packs at 7-Elevens.

  3. Forgetful Ed. Adds:

When we started paying for butts, they were 35¢ from the machine at the gas station where the guy who worked the night shift would let us punk* kids buy them.

*'Bout 10 yrs. before "punk rock." The collective we were hippie wanna-bes in those days.
