Drought Up-Date

Imagine awakening at 1315 of a Sunday & discovering that there is no water flowing into the bunker!

There was enough water in the kettle for (only) one cuppa kaw-fee.

What if we'd wanted to take a shower? (Not bloody likely, as we took one just Friday, but it could happen.) What if we needed another cuppa? (Which we do.)

Nobody knows the trouble yada ...

P.S.: ++bloody hell, we really were planning to do laundry today.

    What Was That Guy On About Editor Reports:

    Broken (rusted?) pipe, which flooded the front yard & sidewalk. As soon as we decided we really needed that next cup of joe we checked the tap again, then went out & blew $1.50 on a gallon of water.

    As soon as we were back (five mins.) from the store, the water was flowing again. Of course. Bastards.
