Semi-Natural World

Three hrs. Saturday afternoon hiking in the park.
Last indication of humanity.
The day being too overcast for the standard shots of downtown, our eye was drawn to the stark & morbid.
Wrong fork.
Correct fork.
Do not fall off.

  1. Did you go up to the Observatory? That looks like you climbed up the really steep hill we climbed down!

  2. Expeditionary Editor Explains:

Took the bus up Vermont to the Greek, got off & hiked to just under the Obsv., then went cross-country down the western side of the hill, & came out through Ferndell at Western. So, about a 12-blk. walk. (East to West, anyway.) in three hrs.

And, no aching today, though we felt a bit stiff last night. (Shut up!)
