We indeed took that all by ourself. (If it isn't news or credited, we probably took it.) Just stared at the sun & snapped. Gave the tree an interesting look, eh?
I was going to guess it was the moon, the moon could have given you a pic like that last night with the right (or wrong) exposure.

ReplyDeleteBeing used to eyepieces rather than monster visiplates on the back of he camera, we usually shoot large & crop; had we been seriously framing (rather than devoting part of the brain to not-careening down the hillside) we would've included those branches right out.
Working from the orig., we would've cropped at the top, & not as much on the side.
But even turning the machine on is an imposition.
*We kid because we have deep-seated issues. Free work always accpteed.
