ReplyDeleteI spent seven weeks in constant combat in a company that was more than 80% disgruntled, angry, poorly trained draftees. We fought like lions, and we hung together even though we hated each other. This whole unit cohesion thing only matters in peacetime. Get some nasty fuckers in tan uniforms trying to kill you and you'd be amazed what people will do.
Give me a bunch of reprobates, dopers and ex-cons and put us under fire and we'll be just fine, thanks a bunch....
