As each team currently holds the best record in their league, if there weren't any play-off bullshit, & for some inexplicable reason the season ended today, the Fall Classic™ (besides becoming the Summer Classic) would be a Freeway Series between the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (A-hem!) & the Brooklyn Bums of Los Angeles.
We've no idea why we type this, because the not-so-ex Bums may not even be near the wild card by the end of September if they don't knock this crap off.
