Iran "not close" to nuclear weapon: Gates

Gates' comments followed a televised interview with Adm. Mike Mullen, head of the U.S. military Joint Chiefs of Staff, who told CNN's "State of the Union" that he believed Iran has enough fissile material to make a nuclear bomb. "We think they do, quite frankly," Mullen said.We don't know what to think. And we're so far beyond caring, that we wonder why we even brought it up. We'll have reduced our world to a wasteland w/in a few yrs. anyway. It makes little difference if it's a radioactive wasteland or a simple capitalist wasteland.
