ReplyDeleteActually, I looked at his site and I think he worked with someone I know, a R & B singer named Emry Thomas.
I remember going onto the roof of the fire station with D.B. and admiring the giant electric sign (unlit) on the Million Dollar Hotel just a ways away.

ReplyDeleteWe were going to mentiion something about the view of western downtown from the roof while having a smoke break from the rigors of recording.
And we never thought to search Mr. Champagne on the webs. We think he may still have the NoS masters.
