Speaking of puppet gov'ts., as we were earlier (Told you there'd be a quiz!) it was 45 yrs. ago today (1963, for you innumerates) that Buddhist monk Thich Quang Duc immolated himself on a Saigon street to protest the policies of the gov't. of Vietnamese (Catholic/colonial) President Ngo Dinh Diem, who of course was assassinated, w/ American approval, in Nov. of that yr.
