At least he didn't fixate on alleged dog-eating or the like.

Didn't read any comments, being one-eyed. Except the Cheney one, since there was only one.

Local news? Anyway, as a younger man he'd been amused by the stories that Imelda Marcos had so greedily amassed a shoe collection, and at the time the story came out, we were working with a Filipino-American cultural group, and he made some mean-spirited but kinda funny jokes about shoes - it may have been that there was a consulate presence there or a Marcos proclamation, something that made the connection make sense.

But as his dementia progressed through the years, he began to make these incredibly stupid, offensive jokes about shoes anytime any mention of the Philippines or Filipino anything came up. It was like in his messed up brain, the personal quirks of Imelda Marcos had become a significant symbol of Filipino culture. He'd say shit like this and people would just go "huh?"

It almost became not-offensive in the end, because no one could understand what he was talking about.

So that's what Pammycakes and her friends are becoming - Muslim-dementia syndrome. next thing you know they'll be protesting about Algebra classes. Or boycotting the Zero.Glennishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03681336164718681936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4805744272460405750.post-90269050390029529062011-12-12T18:42:52.712-08:002011-12-12T18:42:52.712-08:00PS - did you see the comment someone made at the s...PS - did you see the comment someone made at the site about the victim?Glennishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03681336164718681936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4805744272460405750.post-42275705381284144732011-12-12T18:42:19.088-08:002011-12-12T18:42:19.088-08:00Geez, like so maybe no one else heard it?
