Another Disappointment
(In A Long Series)

Big damn heat wave we were promised didn't materialize, at least not in the local microenvironment. Hit the streets from noonish 'til 1400-ish, & while the temperature was alleged to be 92F/approx. 33.33333333333333333333C in the civilized world (although only predicted to hit 88F) there was a balmy breeze which caused enough wind-chill that I wasn't at all uncomfortable. How damnably dull.

    I'll take it. Our heat index was only 90 today, after a weekend approaching 110. It was surprisingly comfortable. We have the company picnic tomorrow. I'll be sweating my plums off.
