Question Of The Day:
Just How Dense Is Andrew Sullivan?

The second stupidest person on the iNternet, in hysterics over "torture" as if it's never happened or been part of these United Snakes ever before wonders:
What I simply don’t understand is how conservatives – those most skeptical of the power and reach of big government – are not appalled by this state of affairs. It is the biggest threat to our liberty and constitution around. And yet they defend it. And find excuses for it. And even celebrate it.
Guess Andy's given up on the Orwellian struggle by which he used to pretend to live:
"To see what is in front of one's nose needs a constant struggle." - George Orwell.
Otherwise he might have absorbed a bit o' history,
key point about U.S. RW--odd combo of "posse comitatus" libertarianism & kneejerk fascism.
& might even stop making a hysterical fool of himself.

  1. Eh, there's plenty to mock Sully about, even without digging into his past blogging. But in his defense, he often says the right thing, especially when criticizing conservatives.

  2. Wait. Just noticed that Teh Dish is now on his own site. Is Sully no longer employed by the Daily Beast, or wherever it was that he went after the Atlantic? And if so, how long has this been the case?

  3. Sorry. That was easy enough to look up.

As you can tell, I pay not so much attention to the political blogging lately. Present company excluded, of course.
