New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio: 'We have to get everyone to move away from anger and hatred. If there are differences, we have to address them peacefully'

Peacefully. So, not w/ thugs in face-concealing masks, helmets, & body armor, armed w/ gas, beanbag rounds, rubber bullets & live ammo, rolling through the streets in armored vehicles in a show of colonialist force? Wait a minute, how in hell's that supposed to work? Tough love & zero-tolerance are the American way, not namby-pamby "kiss them on both cheeks" to use Richard B. Cheney's phrase. After all, “How nice do you want to be to the murderers of 3,000 people two people on 9/1112/20?”
