Yeah, I know you can't really call any album 'The Best'. Tastes and opinions and even my moods vary too much. But still and indeed: One of the best.
And as a larger point, if it was not for Americans of African descent (the vast majority of which were brought here in chains) I would not have the blues, nor rock-n-roll, nor jazz, nor A Love supreme.. So for all you jock-a-moes hatin' on the darkies, allow me to quote Kurt Vonnegut (a dead, white guy), “Why don't you take a flying fuck at a rolling doughnut? Why don't you take a flying fuck at the mooooooooooooon?”
