  1. Those curved pieces on the corners will be like that for a few more weeks, because that's custom glass and must be custom-manufactured, which takes time. The other pieces probably won't be replaced by the penny-pinching landlord until the curved pieces are available, to save on the per-call costs (every time the window company has to haul their winches and scaffolds and such out there to fix a window, they charge a big fee to cover their cost of renting that equipment).
