How The Mighty Have Fallen

Pretty much not caring any more, but this will do for an obligatory item. "Did it" (& not by ourself, wise-ass) in this park once. 1983ish, we're guessing.

Not in the neighborhood any more, & the last thing we did in the park was shop at the farmer's marklet.

  1. I love the euphemism for West Hollywood. How quaint: WeHo.

Sigh..I miss 'parks', especially nice functional ones. Here in Redneckistan, our parks are few and far between and usually populated with flies and dogshit as the city/county cries poor when we bitch about the lack of upkeep.

No city-county park beats our own Griffith Park, we'll admit.

    Don't you have Nat'l. Forests & so on in/near 'Neck-Ville?

  3. Yeah, the Yosemite thang is about four hours away..one way. Not a day trip sorta place for my recently worked-upon back. I had eight hours of spine surgery in Hell-A three months ago. By one of your very famous neurosurgeons I might add.

I am talking about down the street sorta park, catch a buzz and enjoy the birds type of environment..Where you can simultaneously watch the local juvenile delinquents participate in their favorite endeavors.

  4. I love Griffith Park. I know that place well. Just the thought of that space puts a smile on my mug.
