    Doesn't that sound weird? Isn't it like "Todd and my family" are other than "we"?

    "On behalf of" means "in the interest of" or "for the benefit of."

    If Sarah wrote it, wouldn't she say "Todd and me and all our family are...."

    But if it's a spokesman, they might say, "On behalf of the Palin family, this office would like to say that...."

    But this is a spokesman trying to put their words in Palin's mouth - and sounding totally insincere, how weird and unprofessional.
